Sunscreen + Summer + Poutine + Cameras

The marvels of daily life are exciting; no movie director can arrange the unexpected that you find in the street
— Robert Doisneau

Earlier this summer, Katie and I decided to take on the Calgary Stampede. I haven’t been in years and it seemed like a good opportunity to go on a photo adventure. So with cameras in hand, packs slung, water and snacks - off we headed. It was a day of sun-warmed pavement - gravy soaked fries and eye-popping people watching. Bright lights, saturated colours, and heat-drenched bodies. The air was alive with every scent you could imagine, peppered with cooling mist stations.

Thank you Katie for winding through the crowds, sitting on a random sidewalk and overall a hilarious photo filled day!
