Learning to Adventure
“There is always an adventure waiting in the woods”
A couple weekends ago Katie and I decided we needed to get out and stretch our legs in the woods, so we packed our cameras, grabbed Starbucks and off we went.
Oh and we packed the Hemi Dog. It would be his first full hike, (he did a small sorta hike in February around Emerald Lake. Well not around exactly - more like a section-ish). I am bound and determined Hemi will love adventure - although at this point, I feel he LOVES adventure too much…. stay tuned on that front.
It ended up being a pretty great day - we walked under sunshine, sprinkled with snow and were gifted views of distant peaks and trees waking up. Thank you Katie for adventuring with me, taking some fun photos of Hemi and I - plus - shouldering the exuberance and barely contained excitement that is Hemi.
