Snow Fun

I wonder if the snow loves the trees and fields, that it kisses them so gently? And then it covers them up snug, you know, with a white quilt; and perhaps it says, “Go to sleep, darlings, till the summer comes again.
— Lewis Carroll, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland/Though the Looking Glass

Cody and I ventured out to the mountains earlier this year to explore some snow frozen waterfalls and hopefully catch a glimpse of a rouge troll. We have been multiple times to Troll Falls, yet never in the winter - so I was excited to see an unfamiliar side of a very familiar space.

No trolls were found, however the rare and tricksy snow snake was discovered lounging on a branch.
