Secret Waterfalls

In all things of nature, there is something of the marvelous
— Aristotle

Early this fall, my friend Katie and I decided to pack our cameras and head out to the mountains in search of waterfalls. I think this waterfall has become one of my favorites - more than epic, more than pretty. This waterfall has a voice and demands to be heard roaring through the trees while it rushes within its bank - in a hurry to get wherever it was headed. Impatient - the water itself clambered, stormed and tumbled in prefect reckless abandon, awakening the forest around and daring any to bar its path.

Thank you Katie for spending the day with me chasing waterfalls and adventuring in forests and searching for light.
