Blizzardy Chores
“Horses make a landscape look beautiful.”
If you have spent any time on an Albertan prairie, you will know that the winter is no joke. And the cold, well - the cold - becomes a persnickety personality which gives truth to the saying “you are living in a place where the air hurts your face.”
So before the cold really settled in, I wanted to take some photos of Bruno in the snow. I thought the swirling snowflakes would look really cool against Bruno’s face.
Between warming frozen hands under Bruno’s blanket, and waiting for the wind to swirl the snowflakes just so - Bruno and I managed to get chores done before the cold really entrenched itself, alongside some of my favorite photos of the year.
