A Little Lady Bug

Little things make big days.”
— Anonymous

The other day I noticed the trees out back were creating some fantastic shadows on the green grass - so naturally Bittie and I headed out to see what we could see. However by the time I grabbed my camera, Bittie, and found matching shoes - the sun sneakily slipped behind some clouds.

Bittie was off a-ways sniffing all the sniffs and generously marking her territory - sighing, I sit down to wait for the sun to deign to reappear. Sun’s are fickle, you know and sometimes patience is required when one is waiting for them to condensed to light the world back up.

While waiting, I almost missed the thing I intended to photograph because the tiniest creature captured the whole of my attention - a little walking ruby on my jeans. Forgotten was the sun and the shadows - because a little Lady Bug came to visit.
